He initiated his professional journey after graduating from Government Medical College, Amritsar in India and had years of working experience as a GP as well as working in the Emergency and ICU’s. After moving to Australia, he worked in the rural areas of NSW as a successful GP and now he is looking to settle in Murray with his family and will be working with us as a full-time GP.

Dr. Taslima Akther (Dr Taslima)

I graduated from Chittagong Medical College, Bangladesh in 2005. I obtained fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016. I have been working in the field of medicine and surgery including obstetrics and gynaecology for more than 16 years in my home country. I am now integrating my experience and will be undergoing further studies here in Australia to align my skillset to my new home country. I will be undertaking my Felllowship training with the RACGP next year.
